Bioinformatics & Computational Sciences Diploma

A structured professional diploma, certified by German Jordanian University (GJU).

The programme combines five core courses with one specialization (six courses in total), progressing from computational thinking and bioinformatics foundations through data analysis, next-generation sequencing and multi-omics.

• Introduction to Bioinformatics (INTO-BIO)
• Data Analytics and Visualization Using R (DAV-R)
• NGS Data Analysis (NGS)
• Multi-Omics Data Analysis (MODA)

Specialization (choose one)

• Machine Learning for Bioinformatics (ML-BIO)
• Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD)
• Genome / Transcriptome-Wide Association Analysis (G-TWAS)
• Cloud Infrastructure for Bioinformatics (CIB)
• Metagenomics
• Deep Learning for Bioinformatics (DL-BIO)

The specialization is chosen before the final semester, not at enrolment, and is included in the diploma fee.

Study tracks

Accelerated Track (3 semesters)

• Semester 1: INTR-CADS + INTO-BIO
• Semester 2: DAV-R + NGS Data Analysis
• Semester 3: MODA + specialization

Standard Track (4 semesters)

• Semester 1: INTR-CADS + INTO-BIO
• Semester 2: DAV-R
• Semester 3: NGS Data Analysis
• Semester 4: MODA + specialization

Each course: 14 lessons · 50 hours.

Tuition

Full diploma: 1,650 JOD (approx. 2,330 USD). Payment is processed in JOD. GJU certification is awarded for the full diploma only.
